Me, Bob, Molly & Wes
Molly & Bob came over today and my head is spinning from all of the great info they gave me on Bob’s first hand experience of going through cancer with Kristi. It makes me sad to think of everything that Bob and Kristi’s family went through and how fast everything happened…
Molly who now works for the Cancer Treatment Centers of America is such a huge resource. It’s so interesting listening to the different stories of others that are now attending the treatment center and different options that are out there. I think we are so lucky to have someone working there that is so passionate and good at what she does! I learned so much today about treatment, options, dealing with docs, and so much more!
I am a little scared of going through the Chemo treatment after hearing in more detail the process, etc…I also learned that I may not be able to get manicures and pedicures during chemo!! WHAT!!! Also, have to be careful about my hair..coloring, etc. Now THIS is something that will take getting use to!

Melissa, this Blog is a fantastic idea. What a great way to keep everyone in the loop on your progress and get some positive and helpful encouragement/advice. It’s also good to hear you have so many resources at your disposal, I swear I thought your brother-in-law was a doctor he was so well informed, but apparently he just stayed at a Holiday Inn Express the night before
You’re in mine and Sheri’s thoughts and you know if you need anything at all I’ll be there
that’s hilarious!!!
Hey Melissa. The blog is great. I am leaving for Orlando tomorrow for the week (sales meeting) and when I get back I want to come and see you. I went through chemo 20 years ago. Let me know if you want to hear about my experience. I have talked to many people battling cancer and it’s always good to talk to survivors. When I was going through my ordeal it was great to talk to peole that had been through it. It gave me hope and encouragment.
I look forward to seeing you. I love ya, Meliss. Stay strong and I’ll see you soon.
Doug

Hey Melissa!
This is Heather, I used to work for Jennifer Brown with American Family Insurance. I was the girl that would call you about your insurance!! Anyway, I saw your page on Lori’s facebook and checked it out. I want you to know that you are in my prayers. My brother was diagnosed almost a year ago with an extremely rare form of Leukemia and had to have a stem cell transplant. He is doing amazing so I want you to know that with the help of family and friends and the amazing power of prayer, you will be fine! Positive attitude is 99% of it. Also, I commend you for blogging. My brother had a care page through the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and it helped to keep everyone up to date as well as a tool for him to express himself.
Keep that positive attitude and know that I will be adding you to my prayers everynight. God bless you and lots of I am sending lots of love your way!!
Love Heather
