I was up all night last night. I was wide awake and there was nothing I could do to fall asleep. I finally was able to sleep at 5:30 this morning, so of course I felt like hell all day today. I had too much running through my mind. My friend Tammy came into town last night from Seattle, so today we decided to do something to pamper ourselves. We ended up going to the Camelback .. Yesterday was an unforgettable day. I’m so glad that all of the time and energy I put into planning our adventure was worth every minute. I don’t think I could have asked for a better experience. I got a helicopter to take Rob, Holly, Greg and I to Sedona. It was funny because Rob had no idea until we drove down Greenway towards the airpark, I just love surprises! Anyway, the flight was gorgeous. .. Read More

My fever is gone and I feel so much better than a few days ago. My stomach has some kind of issue and I am preying that it goes away for tomorrow. I spent all morning on the phone trying to organize a surprise that I put together for Rob. Rob is an ex boyfriend of mine from years and years ago. I met him when I was in my mid twenties and at the .. Read More
Today was chemo day. I have been counting down the days until today. I feel like once I get past this second round of chemo then I will have a better idea of how I will react to the side effects. Unfortunately, we got to CTCA in time for radiation and the nurses said the machine just went down again today right before I got there. They were trying to reach me, but didn’t have my .. Read More

Sorry it’s been awhile since I have written a new post. I have been receiving several calls and emails to make sure that I’m alive and to see if I was released from the hospital. Thank you so much for your concern.
I was released last Saturday from CTCA and over the past few days things have been a little stressful and I have just been catching up. The doctor had called my father and .. Read More

Hi Everyone
My blackberry died and unfortunatly I can’t get any of my contacts off of it to add to my new phone. I finally broke down and bought an i-phone the other day and still figuring out how to use it. Anyway, I don’t have any contact info or dates or appointments that were on my calendar. If you call, please don’t be offended if I don’t recognize you or don’t call back. If you call .. Read More

I finally broke down and bought an I Phone today. My poor old blackberry finally hit the dust. I think I’ve had the same phone for 3 years now, quite a long stretch for these days. I did check out the T-mobile store first, but ended up thinking that switching to an iphone would be better since I have the macbook pro now too. I just need to learn how to use this darn thing. .. Hi Everyone
Thanks for the calls and the emails offering support. I know everyone wants to help in their own way. I really need to find a permanent fixed schedule and I think adding a person here or there may just add confusion. Once I figure out a permanent solution I think it will be easier to incorporate other things here or there. My dad and Barb just got into town today so the CTCA car is .. Read More

Today was meeting day. The pain doc and about 7 others came to my room to discuss some of the concerns they have. The main thing seemed to be my social structure at home. I don’t live with anyone at home so if something happened like a fall and I couldn’t get to a phone, then I would have a serious problem. They also believe that the painkillers are impairing my ability to drive. Now, .. Read More

Yes, Im still here at CTCA. It’s Tuesday and I have been here since Saturday night. I was getting very frusterated the past few nights and into today because I felt like my pain was not being managed. The doctors switched me to an IR mediation called Oxycodone. This is something that I have taken in the past during the St. Joes days. For whatever reason, we stopped this medication and switched to Dilaudid. .. Read More
